Happy Fathers Day

This year for fathers day all the fathers I care most about are far from me. Johnny is up in Logan going to school while we are still in ST. George. I miss him so very much. His girls miss him too. I am grateful we live in a day of technology that allows us to communicate long distances in so many ways. We talk on the phone each day and video conference each night. We still miss him.

Here are ten reasons Johnny is a wonderful Dad!

9. He will sing silly songs with Jorryn when she asks.

8. He is not afraid of playing girl type games with his little girls.

7. He is striving to earn how to twist a pony tail holder into a little girls hair to make a pony.

6. He loves to eat babies ( Which makes all of us laugh)

5. He will sometimes share his food, even when he is rationing it.

4. He cuddles his babies

3. He provides evelynn with great target practice after she eats.

Johnny you make a great dad for your little girls and we love you for that. We miss you and can't wait to see you Saturday. Life would feel a little empty without you. We are glad we have you for our girlies dad!

We have a few guests at our house. 2 baby birds are in our front yard tree. They are so fun to watch.

pistachio pudding salad as I see it

This is for you mom.
2 boxes instant pistachio pudding mix
2 cans crushed pineapple
1 container cool whip
1 small container cottage cheese
mini marshmallows if desired

mix all together, or rather fold together.

measurements need not be exact.

chill for at least 2 hours and enjoy.

All this for 24$. Thanks mom and grandmas for your coupons. I saved 105 $ today at Albertsons! An avaerage 0.75$ each item.

The Word of the Day

Jorryn has been listening to "The Word on the Street" With Maury from Sesame Street. It has not only broadened her vocabulary but added some words to mine. Here are some fun phrases she has said the last few weeks.

"Evelynn, your tongue looks like a pepperoni!"

While driving through the farm lands of Juab County, "I see a green ocean!"

"Mom, can you do a pirouette?"

"Lets sit here and talk about things."

"Dude, I need my privacy."

Gotta post Fast

I keep losing my precious Internet time reading everyone else's posts. That is more fun.
So I will try and do a turbo post and get up all that has been happening in the last 2 weeks.

We took a day drive to the LA temple while in LA. Jorryn loved it. She liked when we found the little pillars that sang primary songs. The Temple and my girls are two of my favorite things.

This is Jorryn at her favorite park that we found in LA. She wanted to go back every day.
Evelynn joined us on her first camp out up at red cliffs this weekend. she loved it just as much as the rest of us do!
When we got back from vacation Evelynn refused to have a bottle anymore. SO we started feeding her solids especially if she is at the babysitters all day. She can down a bottle of carrots faster then anyone!
Everyone likes a naked baby at the beach! She has a blow out on all our outdoor excursions.
AT the aquarium a bird was eating dads watch. Joryyn was so concerned.
Doesn't it fill you with wonder and aw just to look at it. I love the calming rhythm of an aquarium. So fluid!
I am proud of my baby girl for touching a ray. That takes guts!

We celebrated 6 years of wonderful marriage on May 10th. It was a great mothers day as well!
