Home again... for a week

We got back from a trip to Logan on Sunday last week. Johnny had a workshop for his Doc program. we had Aggie Ice cream everyday. It was my birthday last Sunday so Johnny took me to my favorite restaurant (Bella Monte in Sardine Canyon)

We stayed at Grandma and Grandpas house on the way to and from. Jorryn loved playing with Toby and doing girly stuff with her aunts.

Grandma and Grandpa got to take Jorryn to the Zoo lots this summer. Her favorites are the alligator, monkeys, giraffe, and elephant.

We had so much fun watching the Olympics. Jorryn is a future medalist, she tells us, "Mom, Dad, watch me do the O Lipsticks." then she will runaround and jump and somersault.

We are headed to Blanding on Friday for the Olsen reunion and are excited.

And The verdict is....

At our ultrasound today the doctor said that their are definitely no boy parts on our baby and she will be a healthy baby girl! She had all of her parts and pieces in all of the right places. We are very excited!

Jorryn's First Haircut

I finally gave Jorryn a little hair cut. I trimmed her bangs. Now she will be able to see when she doesn't have a pony in her hair.

o.k. so I am bad at this blogging stuff.

In the last two months both Johnny has taken 8 graduate credits and I, Summer have taken 9 credits. Johnny spent June 29- July 9th at the National Education Association's annual delegates conference in Washington D.C. He was able to go to the National monuments and war memorials, tour the Pentagon and capitol, and visit lots of museums. Jorryn and I went to SLC while he was away. We spent the 4th of July in Delta while He spent it on the Potomac River watching fireworks explode over the Mall.

In the middle of July we went to Mesquite NV for a quick vacation and sometime to relax together as a family. All we did was eat sleep and swim. Jorryn is getting to be a really good swimmer. She can float on her back and likes to look up at us in the water.

She has been calling Johnny and I Hun and calling me "Dad's Wife." You can tell I have been away from her at school to much this summer. She is always pretending that she is "going to classes."

We were able to spend the July 24th weekend up with Grandma and Grandpa Vernon at there cabin. It was so nice. Jorryn had so much fun with her family.

On Tuesday Aug. 5 I have my first ultra sound scheduled to check out our baby (boy according to Grandpa Kelly, but we will see.) I will post again shortly after.
